When I grow up I plan to be a music educator as well as teach percussion ensembles.

10. How has band/music impacted your life?

Music has impacted my life greatly. I’ve always been a quiet kid and a loner. I have anxiety and have the hardest time ever making friends but music has laid the foundation for me to have not only friends but a family that I know will always be there. This last year I transferred to 3 different high schools and moved several times. I had stopped eating and sleeping most of the time and the only thing that really kept me going during those hard times was music and the amazing people I’ve met along the way.
